This is a print of a watercolor painting I made depicting three kidneys. I had two different meanings in mind when I painted it. One, it can depict the addition of a new kidney thanks to a donor (see how the 3rd kidney is brighter than the other two?) When I was painting it, though, I also had in mind the anatomy of my friend and neighbor, who was born with three kidneys! She definitely has upgraded and unique renal anatomy.
The elegant cobalt and navy color palette will make it a lovely addition to any urologist, nephrologist or person with a unique kidney story.

ABOUT VECTORIZING
For sizes larger than 16×20, we use a vectorization process to ensure your print stays crisp and clear when enlarged. It is barely noticeable, especially at a distance, but we do like to make you aware so that you know exactly what you’re getting! Take a look at the last image in the gallery to see the difference between the two.

MUSEUM QUALITY
We use 100% cotton fiber, acid-free, lignin-free (polymer), and optical brightener (OBA) free paper.
TRUE TEXTURE
The paper has a similar feel to watercolor and fine art paper which adds a stunning quality to any print.
WARM WHITES
No chemical brighteners are added which makes the paper last longer.
ADVANCED INK TECHNOLOGY
10-color archival pigment ink with an expanded color gamut.

SHIPPING
How are the prints shipped?
5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 prints will come attached to a cardboard backing within a stiff mailer. 16x20 prints will arrive in a tube. Flat boxes are available for 16x20 prints on request.

If you need faster shipping, please choose one of our Express Shipping options. Shipping time is in addition to production time, purchasing 2-day shipping does not guarantee your order will arrive in 48 hours.
