This is a print that I made of the Epidermis, the outermost layer of skin. This piece is special because it is gilded with gold foil, adding an extra bit of shine to the watercolor. Because this is a print of the original piece, the gold will be visible, but it will not be metallic or have the luster of gold paint.

This print would make the perfect addition to any dermatology clinic or dermatologist’s office!

PAPER: The print will come on 100% cotton rag 300gsm Archival Matte Paper, 340gsm Cold Press Fine Art Paper or, if you choose our Glossy option, Fine Art High Gloss Paper.

EU and UK orders are printed with ultra wide gamut inks on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching or, if you choose our Glossy option, Hahnemühle Pearl paper.

For sizes larger than 16×20, we use a vectorization process to ensure your print stays crisp and clear when enlarged. We call this "Go BIG!"

Vectorization is barely noticeable, especially at a distance, but we do like to make you aware so that you know exactly what you’re getting! Take a look at the last image in the gallery to see the difference between the two.

How are the prints shipped?
5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 prints will come attached to a cardboard backing within a stiff mailer. 16x20 prints will arrive in a tube. Flat boxes are available for 16x20 prints on request.

If you need faster shipping, please choose one of our Express Shipping options. Shipping time is in addition to production time. Purchasing 2-day shipping does not guarantee your order will arrive in 48 hours.
